These are our Podiatrist's simple steps for preventing foot problems if you have Diabetes:

  • Stay in control!!  Monitor & maintain stable glucose levels;
  • Don't smoke, exercise regularly;
  • Avoid barefoot walking;
  • Wear well-fitting, protective shoes and socks;
  • Keep the skin on your feet healthy;
  • Have corns, calluses and other foot problems treated by a Podiatrist;
  • See your Podiatrist every year for a diabetic foot check-up!
